About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Support

The Social Media team is looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead Coinbase’s online presence across multiple social platforms. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create high-quality, engaging content strategically tailored to social media platforms including X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Youtube
  • Identify emerging trends in social media content creation, stay ahead of cultural trends in the crypto community, deploy impactful proactive content on Coinbase’s social channels
  • Monitor, respond, and engage with our audience in real time, fostering trust and loyalty within the crypto community
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar: create posts, obtain approvals, schedule, and monitor performance of social media posts
  • Work closely with marketing, comms and other teams to coordinate social media efforts with broader campaigns and ensure consistency
  • Measure and report against the performance of social marketing initiatives; share recommendations to optimize social performance
  • Handling operational social media tasks, including onboarding vendors, quarterly audits, and new account creations

What We Look for in You:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Comfortable writing short-form content for a crypto audience
  • Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual
  • Demonstrated track record of creating social campaigns to steer new audience acquisition and deepen engagement
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to come up to speed on technical topics quickly
